01 / Questions & Answers
Getting started
What is copytrading?
A broker’s copy service mirrors a strategy’s trades to your own account according to the connection settings. It automates trade entry, rather than removing trading risk.
Do I need trading experience?
You do not need to enter every trade manually. You should still understand the strategy, the platform, costs and potential losses before connecting.
Where is my capital held?
Your deposited funds are held in your own account with the broker. Speechless Trading does not receive or hold those funds. Review the broker’s protections and the access permissions you grant.
How much capital is required?
Minimum funding depends on the broker, copy platform and strategy. Ask for the current requirements before funding your account.
What does it cost?
Review the current broker and strategy fee schedule. Costs may include spreads, commissions, financing and a performance fee. We do not apply one universal fee or minimum to every setup.
How is copytrading different from active trading?
With active trading, you make and execute your own trading decisions. With copytrading, a selected strategy’s trades are mirrored according to the platform settings.
How is copytrading different from signal trading?
Signals provide trade information for you to assess and execute. A copy service can execute trades automatically according to its connection settings.
02 / Questions & Answers
Strategy & risk
Which markets are traded?
The instruments depend on the strategy and broker. Check the current strategy description and supported symbols before connecting.
What is drawdown?
Drawdown describes a decline from a previous peak. Check whether a reported drawdown is based on balance or equity, its measurement period and whether open losses are included.
How often does a strategy trade?
Trading frequency differs by approach. A short-term strategy may trade more frequently than a swing strategy. The profile and trading history provide context.
How is risk managed?
Risk rules depend on the strategy and your copy settings. Ask about position sizing, exposure, exits and loss limits. A risk rule does not guarantee that a loss stays within a planned amount.
Are profits guaranteed?
No. Losses are possible, including loss of your trading capital. Previous gains or a positive history do not guarantee future results.
Can I follow multiple strategies?
Availability depends on the broker and copy service. Review each connection’s exposure and whether the strategies may take similar positions. More strategies do not automatically mean less risk.
What should I review before choosing a strategy?
Review the approach, trading history, drawdown, costs, frequency and available account data. Compare these with your own objectives and limits; performance alone is not enough.
What role does psychology play?
Automation changes how trades are entered, but your decisions about funding, risk settings and continuing or stopping still matter. A written review process can help you assess those decisions consistently.
03 / Questions & Answers
Account & monitoring
Can I pause or disconnect?
Use the broker or platform’s controls and check their instructions. Pausing new copying and closing existing positions may be separate actions.
Can I switch strategies?
Check the platform’s switching process, applicable fees and treatment of existing positions before changing a connection.
What happens if the provider stops trading?
New trades may stop being copied. Existing positions can remain open, depending on the platform and settings. Check your broker account and provider instructions.
When can I see trading results?
Your broker account shows your own executions and results. Our public dashboard shows the connected strategy data and its update timestamp; it is not a live view of your personal account.
How transparent is the Performance overview?
The overview identifies connected accounts, dates and included metrics. BOS currently supplies data; Phoenix, Infinity and Sigma are awaiting connection. Read the labels for costs, credits and open positions.
Is there a fixed term?
The applicable connection, withdrawal and termination conditions come from the broker, platform and strategy agreements. Confirm them before joining.
How is the service structured?
The broker provides your account, execution and copy service. Speechless Trading provides strategy information and setup guidance without receiving or holding your deposited funds. The applicable rights and conditions are defined in the agreements for your chosen setup.

Trading and copytrading involve risk of loss. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
